Why We Opened on Main Street
Magnolia & Main opened in 2018 in a storefront that had sat empty on the courthouse square for years. We stripped it back to the brick, kept the original tin ceiling, and built a salon around one idea: nobody should leave a chair confused about their own hair. Too often we'd seen clients hand over a photo and walk out with something they couldn't maintain and nobody had warned them about. So we made the consultation non-negotiable — we read your hair, your lifestyle, and your budget before we mix a single bowl of color. Six years in, most of our chairs are filled by people who've followed the same stylist through babies, weddings, and the long humid summers Ellis County is famous for.
